nagal Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 I am coming back to OSx86 just to play around as Vista is cool but just not my thing. No problems getting everything working like before except my on board audio. I am not stranger to installing OS X and have followed all the guides, editing kext and so on and everything ends in on sound card being seen. I am thinking maybe the on board sound might be dead as even Vista does not see it but then again its Vista I am planning on installing XP on an old drive tomorrow and see what happens but can use another suggestion on getting the on board sound working. bibendum Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 I had a power supply go bad and over voltaged. The only thing that failed on my mother board (an ASRocks 755i945GZ) was the audio chip.
