wildd86
I installed Leopard on my iMac without any problems. I've got Time Machine, Spaces, and all the other cool gizmos working, but can someone tell me what the heck happened to Spotlight? I've tried searching for Application (to get to them quickly) and found that it doesn't find them. I thought I'd check out system preferences, but it shows applications as being the first priority in spotlight searches. Some applications do seem to work, but others do not. For example, when I search for Preview or iTunes, the applications don't show up in the list. Is there something I'm missing? Netherbound
In the Spotlight prefs check the exclude list and you will most likely find that your drive was excluded. I ran into this on 2 of my Leo installs. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68086-spotlight-in-leopard/#findComment-484298 Share on other sites
