installation on GA M61P-S3

hello. I've try to install Mac os X 10.4 for 2 weeks. I try the jas 10.4.3 with every possibility but does'nt work. i was thinking that was an old version for my 64 x2 4000+ so i have try with the 10.4.6 and with the 10.4.7 and 10.4.8 and 10.4.8 PPF1 and PPF2 but none of those were working. kernel panic or break after winlogon started.

but i am very patient. i have try another version th uphuck 10.4.8 1.2 and the 1.3 and finaly th 1.4a.

it works for me with the last one by selecting no kernel and no patch. i was so surprising because i have never try the other version without kernel or patches.

it was working for th first time. i installed the nforce4.pkg with mas os and the sata is working. my only trouble is with my wifi card. its a netgear wg311 and it does'nt work but for instant i've got a new hackintosh.

RAM DDR2 667Mhz kingston 1Go

If you think that you have try everything to install your hackintosh don't forget like me to try without kernel and patches first.

are you using the intergrated video card? (nvidia 6100)

hello.

 

yes i use the integrated video card the geforce6100 and i've no problem with it. i don't have to use patch or kext or pkg for this one.

 

maybe i'm lucky but it's working well for me.

 

only trouble with wifi netgear wg311 and wg111v2. but keyboard is working usb too sound and sata is working after installing nforce4pkg and ALC883pkg.

I hope that i will find package for my wifi card or another card who will working.

hello. now everything is working well. i have a wifi card on another pc. it's a evopc54 and i have found drivers for mac os x on their site. so i change card beetwen pc and hackintosh and it's working well now.

now i've got drivers for my sata drive drivers for my sound card and drivers for my wifi card. i can read files for my windows hard disk. and all my mac applications is working too. everything's all right. i hope you the same happyness.

 

thanks to all people that help me on this forum and thanks to people who adapt mac os x for pc.

My wife work on mac for her job and now she can finish jobs at home or working at home when she need to stay at home. (children ill or traveller's strike "france of course")
