Hi all.

I searched very long but i haven't found something really helpful for me.

So here's my problem:

Fist i tried to install Kalyway 10.4.9 --> if i uncheck acpi an thermal kexts (maybe something more, i forgot) it works perfect.

But any try to update to 10.4.10 ends in endless kernel panics... another distribution / update pack, another panic :) (For example: upgrade to 10.4 via koolkal updater -> acpi error -> reinstalled the acpi package with the 10.4.9 dvd -> no error anymore but it hangs at the blue screen)

System:

Pentium D 915 2,8ghz (yes, SSE3!)

Asus P5VDC-X Board (Via PT880 Ultra chipset)

2 Gig DDR2 Ram

HDD hangs on IDE, no SATA

Radeon X1950XT (works pefectly in 10.4.9)

hope you guys have some good ideas :)

thanks a lot.
