Is there a hack out there yet that will let you backup to a network drive?

I have my Macbook with leopard

I have a WD Mybook as a NAS drive, and it connects via SMB.

But I also have a old powermac G3 B&W (which is what I would like to focus on)

I tried this terminal 'hack'

http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?t...5&tstart=15

and Time machine doesn't recognize it.

Does anyone know of a way to backup to this G3? currently it is running tiger 10.4.10

Maybe there is a way to get leopard on it... :thumbsdown_anim: I know there was a way to get leopard on a G3 in the beta's (but you could also backup to about any NAS drive in the beta's too! :) )

anyway

Thanks,
