Hi guys!

I installed osx86 10.4.9 uphuck v1.3. The intsallation went smooth. Followed all the steps and didnt encounter any problems at all. Untill i restarted the computer and attemted to start Mac OS X. It gets me to the "select startup disk" and when i select the partition i installed the mac os on it flashes something really quick and gets me right back to "select startup disk". Commands like -x wont work, i tried everything. I have no problem booting Vista.

I have an Intel dual core2 1.5 Ghz (supports SSE2, SSE3)

with Vista.

2 gb ram

200 gb HDD

Can anyone please help.

Thank you soooooo much

I am having the same issue. Surely this is a common problem with a simple (hopefully) fix. I still haven't been able to find a solution in my searching. I really wish I could get this going soon as I completely ditched my previous windows and linux install to attempt this... so now I am basically without a laptop until I can either get this resolved or just reinstall win/nix.

If specs will help:

Alienware m5550 laptop

Intel chipset (forgot the numbers)

Intel Core2Duo 1.6ghz (sse2/sse3)

1.5gb RAM

80gb SATA HDD (not dual booting, drive is blank with exception of mac journaled partition)

nVidia GeForce 7600GO

I have tried reinstalling it 4 different times now. Each time I've selected a different kernel hoping maybe that was it.
