More specific, please! What version did U tried to install 10.4.1, 10.4.3(8f1111?) ...

I think you need to read more and understand much more ...

Terms are easy to identify with a good dictionary (no offense) but a technical one or wikipaedia.

But the understanding process is difficult even to advanced users because you need to track sites and articles that are describing the same guide (installing osx for example) but in different ways, so you can have the picture from all this pieces.

Basic steps are:

1. identify your components like CPU(SSE2 or SSE3?; PAT?;NX or XD?),vendor_id and card_id for your videocard ...

2.search the appropriate "distribution" supported by your system (like osx86 10.4.1 or 10.4.3) ...

3.after you find it and download it search the appropriate installing guide for your distribution and apply those patches to get some bootable dvd or partition (dd method)

3.if everything by now was correctly interpretated and applied now you are ready to install your osx86; remember to read again those installing steps from your guide (the one that fits you)

4. after booting into osx86 you should search again (oh my god) to see other speed improvements or maybe some alpha drivers for your GeForce and other experiments you want ... but maybe you'll need to install again after some experiments (don't worry, get back to step 3. from these guidance)

5. finally you can install everything you want (Intel binaries are faster than PPC binaries) and do some ...yes ....some searches again maybe you find Intel binaries or Universal binaries for your software.

I hope these will help you in the osx86land.

Greetings from Romania!
