I'm unable to solve this one: I installed successfully Jas 10.4.8. Worked just like a charm. But today il tried to update to 10.4.10 with koolkal installer. Here's my problem: my computer boots perfectly in safe mode but get stuck in normal mode (still waiting for root device). I tried to delete extestions.kextcache and extentions.mkext and then repair disk permissions. It works, but only for one normal boot. The second one gets stuck (still waiting for root device). And then I have to boot in safe mode, delete kectcache and mkext etc etc Any ideas? Btw i have asus p5k and my osx86 hd is in the ide port.
