Param Posted October 26, 2007 Share Posted October 26, 2007 1.Assuming your BIOS supports boot from USB device, did you change the priority of boot from USB? 1st should be your DVD drive, followed by USB. 2.The screenshot from that site uses OS X 10.4.9, and since you're using OS X 10.4.8 you might expect things a lil' bit different. I installed using the same installer as you're using and what you see is correct, and it is fine. 3.Is your machine Intel/AMD, and did you select the Intel/AMD portion of the items to install? The partition in which you're installing OSX... it's partioned as MAC OS Extended (Journaled)?
