Tensuke
Ok, well, I used the AezaliaAudio patch and was able to get my audio working--only partially however, as it was choppy. I found a fix of changing my fsb in my boot file. I edited it and added cpus=1 fsb=200(800 MHz fsb/4) even though I have a dual core CPU. Now this fixes my problems and everything's great, but I'm just curious on one thing. It shows up as 0 processors and 1 core in the system information. I tried using cpus=2, but for some reason, it runs slower than with cpus=1, and the graphics stuff runs slower as well. Why would this be? I have an Intel Pentium D 2.8 GHz, I want to say 820 or 821 is the number of it, may not be though. Would it be better if I said cpus=2 fsb=400? That would double the cpu and fsb, as I do have two cores. Anyway, just wondering why less cores would be faster and if the fsb of 200 at 2 cores was wrong or something. Thanks for all the help so far! P.S.-Also, it fixed my wireless problems. I have a Netgear wg311t, and I got it to work with the 10.4.5 kexts but it would constantly break every few minutes. But so far, it hasn't broken once. Weird that the fsb would fix that.
