"Still waiting for root device" :(

Hi All,

 

I installed a copy of DeadMoo's Tiger OSX image into a native partition on my Dell Dimension 8400 desktop and i ran into the still waiting for root device error.

 

System specs:

Dell DImension 8400 : Intel pentium 3.2 ghz, 1gb ddr2 ram,

2x160GB = 320 GB in RAID-0 on intel raid controller

Nvidia 6800 video card

 

I get the error right after the firewire is detected.

I tried all possible solutions including deleting a couple of .KEXT files from the MAc partition but they dont seem to work. Any suggestions pleasE?
