Evostance
Im new to running OSX on a PC and everywhere I look I get different answers. So ill ask here Firstly ill post my hardware and then some other stuff. Could you tell me if it will run on this system? Mobo: Asus P5N-E Sli (SSE3) CPU: Intel C2D E6750 @ 2.7ghz Memory: 2x1gb 1066mhz GPU: XFX 8800GTS 640mb OC HDD: 80gb IDE HDD 7200rpm, 2mb cache OS: Windows Vista running in Raid on 2 160gb SATA HDD 7200rpm PCI: Linksys Wireless Card Ok. Im not bothered about wiping my system, but..Windows must run in Raid on the 2 160gb Sata HDD's I have I would like OSX and Vista to dual boot. OSX using the 80gb IDE HD and Vista using the 2 160gb Sata HDD's My next question is that I have found a version of OSX labelled Uphuck v1.3 OS X - Tiger 10.4.9 Full Install Will this version run on my Intel, or can I buy a copy of OSX, or do I need this OS x86? One more quick question. When OSX 10.5 is out tomorrow, will I be able to upgrade or does the original OSX need cr cking/patching/whatever you do? I think that just about covers everything I need to know for now. Please help, thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/67695-where-to-start-and-will-it-run/ Share on other sites
