slylock
Has anyone tried the MIDI Network doodad (Tiger feature for sending MIDI over ethernet) in osx86? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6765-midi-network-thing-on-osx86/ Share on other sites

slylock
I think the purpose is to allow multiple Macs to cooperate during a performance. Maybe so you can pass Midi through to a second Mac, or maybe so you can use one midi controller to control two Macs. I'm not sure what the common use case is, but I was hoping to use it to get my Midi keyboard to work with OSx86; at the moment, direct usb connection of midi devices doesn't work. I'll try it myself this weekend. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6765-midi-network-thing-on-osx86/#findComment-44994 Share on other sites
