Upgraded (via Archive-and-install) from 9a559 to 9a581 on an Intel iMac. Everything seems fine, apart from clicking on the "sharing" icon in System Preferences. I get this error:

"You cannot open Sharing preferences because it doesn't work on an Intel-based Mac."

This definitely is an Intel-based Mac, it runs Parallels beautifully :) Anyone any ideas what is going on?

Yeah, starting to believe that ;) However, I've found the problem file - /System/Library/PreferencePanes/SharingPref.prefPane - and discovered that it's a PowerPC version only. This is bizarre; the previous install (9a559) was fine, and obviously the machine has never been a PowerPC model. Anyway, I've copied the file from another Mac - ironically, a PowerPC G5 - and it's a universal binary which works fine. It wouldn't be fun if *something* didn't go wrong
