youngi
Hey guys, well, on duddie's site i found that v0.5 is the last version released, while i have 0.4 and it always crashes on boot and have to reopen it...on the site it says that 0.5 fixes the crash, did anyone face that bug before? also anyone with the 0.5 version could please upload it here or somewhere to download? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/67609-anyone-with-dcpumanager-v05/ Share on other sites

youngi
by the time u posted the link well of course i knew this is the official site, but the link was down, im glad the link is alive again. and i dont get crashes anymore, but still i have to force quit it to shutdown or restart which makes me think of: findin a way to automatically force quitting dcpumanager at logoff either by a script or a workaround....any ideas folks? i also tried cputhrottler2beta2, and the issue of keep askin for admin password was bypassed by chmod+ and givin privilege to the software...it's found in the topic of this GUI speedstep. But i also found it gives this small beep when cpu goes to another step, also from time to time itunes music kind of switches to right channel and volume goes down for a few seconds. so, this makes me think dcpumanager is the way to go, but we should find a way to auto quit it at shutdowns and restarts Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/67609-anyone-with-dcpumanager-v05/#findComment-551878 Share on other sites
