Hi Im new in here! so hello to everyone!

I have some question regarding to the OSx86 installation on pc.

I have a pentium 4 which supports sse3, It's on Asus P4S800-MX motherboard. It seems like it should make any trouble with MAC OSx86, or maybe im wrong?

What method should I use to install it? is there any difference between the methods when it comes to the final step when the computer boots up with the OS X? I mean, does it make any difference how it was installed?

Im leaning toward the unbuntu method. It seems so simple, and I don't care formatting the entire HD.

After the system is installed, will I be able to use my pci soundcard(M-audio audiophile)? what about fire wire and usb cards? will logic run smoothly?

If not, there are any patches that can fix it? I know there are many patches for rosseta and sse3 to sse2, but the information is scattered all over the net. I can't find one place where I can get all of the information regarding compatibility issues etc'.

One more question, can I use it with ps/2 keyboard?

Any help will be appreciated.

I have an Asus P4C800 Deluxe mobo. Its working flawless minus video driver issues. I have an SSE3 processor as well. If video drivers existed this would be a perfect machine. With that said, tomorrow I'll have a i915 w/GMA900. This should be 100% compatible.

Personally I think the vmware image dd'd over to native is the best way to install atm.
