Roike
the best thing to do is try, this is no lotery but there's no 100% bulletproof setup, so... try it the instalation is easy, just dont rush, read everything, and be sure to custom your install, just install AMD kernel, ( its so easy as checkboxes of what you want to install ) but the most important, is to do it right, never rushing. read as much as you can. Param
TOUCH, If your BIOS allows to boot from USB, and you can get one USB HDD, it'll give you a safer approach. That's what I did. I'm runing via USB HDD. What this means is if I wanna run OS X, i plug my HDD to one of the USB port and start the system. If i wanna run MicroCRAP i just don't plug in and start the system. This way i found out if my machine works and also played around the configurations to get some of the hardware working, while always having a fully working OS. Param
If your BIOS allows for USB boot, i say go for physical installation. Here's a link to get started - http://######.com/software/osxusbnative.htm. The guide mentions about 1 partition. I did a 2 partition (1st partition Mac OS Extended; 2nd DOS) and it works.
