I am running Jas 10.4.8 updated to 10.4.9. I am using the latest Semthex 8.8.1 kernel.

(I also have FCP 6 running fine on a Kalyway 10.4.10 install on another partition. However, Call of Duty 2 doesn't work properly for some reason. That's another post).

I am getting this error in the Console (Utilities -> Console) when I run FCP2:

I looked on a dev forum and somebody else said to try this command, HOWEVER I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO TYPE THIS, or whether it would work or fail: -[NSException raise]

Can anyone shed some light for me?

Thanks so much!

I have the same trouble. All works, except the Final Cut! I've tryed all described here - eth0, private.framework - all the same. Now I'm using - compressor, DVD studio Pro - but no Final Cut!

The error ever is the same -

Exception: EXC_BREAKPOINT (0x0006)

Code[0]: 0x00000002

Code[1]: 0x00000000

That's all. Any suggestions please_
