Altece Posted October 24, 2007 Share Posted October 24, 2007 I finally got Mac OS X 10.4.6 installed natively using VMware, but when i boot natively, I get the following error: FireWire (OHCI) TI ID 8032 PCI now active. GUID 633f02006e3d417d; max speed s400. Still waiting for root device Still waiting for root device Still waiting for root device I have a HP Pavilion dv8000 laptop, and I couldn't find out if this model was compatible because it was not listed on the compatibility page, so I assumed it would work. It works perfectly in VMware, but not natively. Please Help! PS: I'm running Vista if that makes any difference.
