midlandskatecom Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Well, I haven't been able to find a driver for my Sigmatel C-Major Audio sound card so I figured I might as well just spend some money to buy a new one. ratmandu Posted October 24, 2007 Share Posted October 24, 2007 I am using a Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24 bit USB external box. works with surround apps, with some setup using the audio midi app. also supports mic input. I have no way to test the SPDIF or optical out on it, but I assume it should work good. Sound quality is very good going out through my yamaha stereo receiver.it cost me about $35 around a year ago.
