Rockystar Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I was playing around with my appleacapi.kext file to try and do the thermal fix for the fan going all the time. i apparently forgot to repair permissions and when i booted up again it said that appleapaci.kext could not be loaded. It made my battery icon not show up and when i was messing with it saw a power profile kext inside it. On a whim i tried to unplug to see if it had affected the plug freezing problem and it did i can unplug and re plug as many times as i want and no freezing. now just to figure out how to keep it that way and keep my battery indicator. I've been hacking away at my V2000 for several days now and that is one of my last caveats for having a well running (no QE/CI of course) mac os install on my AMD Sempron X200 based laptop....
