LP187 Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I just installed uphuck's 10.4.9 v1.3, and I am pretty sure that i installed everything correctly, but it wont boot up, it just sits at this screen can anyone help? fleisch Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I had the same problem, found the solution within these forums... You need to make sure that, while installing, you choose the diskutility and format and partition you drive and go to options (once you clicked on you hard drive) and check "write mbr" (or sth. like that). LP187 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Share Posted October 23, 2007 That Helped, I didnt sit at that screen but now it wont let me boot it, it gets the the OS X boot menu thing and it says hit enter to boot, but when i hit enter somthing flashes really qucik and dose nothing, and goes back to the boot screen. chillman88 Posted October 25, 2007 Share Posted October 25, 2007 heh, my install will load cpus and then probe the usb and throw a kernel exception , but i will post more about that in another thread if i cannot get this other dl to work sorry i cant help further, sounds like a install option error, did you have it install everything, or just the stuff you know you needed?
