I had the same problem, found the solution within these forums...

You need to make sure that, while installing, you choose the diskutility and format and partition you drive and go to options (once you clicked on you hard drive) and check "write mbr" (or sth. like that). Once that is done it should find your os and it should boot up.

heh, my install will load cpus and then probe the usb and throw a kernel exception :D , but i will post more about that in another thread if i cannot get this other dl to work sorry i cant help further, sounds like a install option error, did you have it install everything, or just the stuff you know you needed?
