Hey,

I have installed v.10.4.9 onto my Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop, had a few problems with hard drive reading errors before, but that is all sorted now.

Basically what has happened is that I go to boot up the laptop, and that's fine, then the grey Apple logo with the spinning loader thingy shows up, and that just seems normal. After that i get a blank blue screen, and that is it. The hard drive does process a little, but it just stops and sticks on the blue screen. Nothing happens.

Is anybody able to give an explanation or a way to resolve this problem so I can actually use OSX on my laptop?

Cheers

DVD-ROM Drive

Shared 64mb video card(don't know, not sure)

I got the same problem, yesterday I got my NIC working, and today: Boots up but when I'm supposed to get the user log in screen I'm getting "blue screen", I can see my mouse cursor from time to time, booting with -s works, -x doesn't (probably because it uses the same display thingy).
