cullend11 Posted October 21, 2007 Share Posted October 21, 2007 When I insert the 10.4.8 setup DVD, I see lots of errors, it took 2 tries to actually get to the OS X installer. Once I was there I selected everything except the Printer drivers, language translations, and whatever the check box for AMD was. I tinstalled as normal, then when I tried to bootup, the screen went to the apple white bootup screen, then I just got ALLOT of black and white vertical stripes. After the screen flashed a few times (stripes still on) then the desktop has black screen. There is just a little disk activity for a few minutes, then it stops completely. I'm using an IBM T60 though. Does anyone have any ideas on this problem?
