Hi everyone,

I've just installed OSX 86 vi.4i on my HP laptop along with Vista system.

Vista was installed first then OSX.

Can't boot the system as it says HFS+ error

If the installation disk is in the CD, I boot on the mac system automatically, no option for the vista.

My laptop is as follows;

HP Pavilion 6000

processor:173 GHz intel core duo

Ram: 1GB

I used rEFIt to check my partitions and this is what the inspector wrote:

*** Report for internal hard disk ***

Current GPT partition table:

No GPT partition table present!

Current MBR partition table:

# A Start LBA End LBA Type

1 63 62759675 07 NTFS/HPFS

2 * 62760960 222017535 af Mac OS X HFS+

3 222018300 234436544 07 NTFS/HPFS

MBR contents:

Boot Code: Unknown, but bootable

Partition at LBA 63:

Boot Code: Windows BOOTMGR (Vista)

File System: NTFS

Listed in MBR as partition 1, type 07 NTFS/HPFS

Partition at LBA 62760960:

Boot Code: Unknown, but bootable

File System: HFS Extended (HFS+)

Listed in MBR as partition 2, type af Mac OS X HFS+, active

Partition at LBA 222018300:

Boot Code: Windows BOOTMGR (Vista)

File System: NTFS

Listed in MBR as partition 3, type 07 NTFS/HPFS

Does anyone have an idea what is missing and how it can be fixed without erasing my OSX partition?

Thanks,

Stradart
