GazR
Hello again Chaps Right, so the last time I tried installing OSX86 It went horribly wrong, and so I gave up! I now have new hardware and thought I would give it another go. I'm now using: Asus MV2 Socket M2 Motherboard AMD 64 4800+ Processor and still the same old ATA drive. So, when I press a key to start the installer, it loads a few things then gets to a page with lots of text on it, the bottom line reads: Darwin Kernal Version 8.8.1: SAT DEC 9 22:18:27 AZOT 2006; semthex:/nebukadnezar/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 And it won't do anything else, is there no hope of me getting osx86 installed again, or will there be some light at the end of the tunnle? I'm not too fussed either way, but it would be nice to get this thing installed once and forall Thanks in advance for any replies, Gary. Edit: I was doing some reading, and a post said to type "-v cpus=2" so I tried that, and now it's currently doing something, so I guess I'll see what happens, will I have to do this everytime? or can I edit the boot script in some way/shape/form? Edit Edit: It installed ok, but when I try and boot into it, I just get an error message telling me to reboot my computer. I don't understand this osx86 thing, it's too complicated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66915-osx86-unable-to-install/ Share on other sites
