Nvidia 570 ethernet, etc...

Ok, let me ensure I have this straight: From reading thru the boards here, I take it that the ethernet on the nforce 570 (I have ASUS M2n-SLI deluxe) will NOT work and I should not even give myself the headache of trying? The SATA seems shaky, but I do have a PATA I can use so no biggie there. I'm going to use Tubgirl's 10.4.10 release and have a copy of the uphuck 1.4a if I need it. I wll also be using the 8800 easy installer mentioned here since I have a nvida 8800 card.

 

I head some one mention something about iwork08 acting funny some times (perhaps that was on 10.4.9) and that the updates from apple fixed it. By updates, I presume you mean whatever iwork08 update shows in the sys updater and not something someone on this board compiled themselves?

 

I read that some one did the tubgirl 10410 install but had to use the uphuck 1.3 install to do some updates. I'm not too clear on th implication there so I suppose I'll find out.
