As irrelevant as this probably is, it is a Gateway MT6705 (STAC9250 audio, RTL8187 wireless, Yukon something-or-other ethernet, Intel Core Duo T2060, 15.4" LCD, 1GB memory, GMA950 video). I have Uphuck v1.4i (10.4.9) installed, speedstepping, GMA950 drivers, power management, etc. Whenever I go to restart (Apple->Restart) it simply shuts down. Period. Shutdown does the same thing. I do not have this trouble on my AMD desktop, and this is my first OSX86 experience with an Intel--but I don't think CPU is significant in this situation. I have had this same problem on the same system with JaS 10.4.8. Has anybody else had this issue, or know what a problem could be? I couldn't find a blasted thing on the forum about this... perhaps I am unique? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

E-werd Posted January 20, 2008 Author Share Posted January 20, 2008 Its been a while since I've initially posted this thread, so lets consider this a bump. I have just installed XxX 10.4.11 and have everything working. I would love to be able to restart/reboot without having to hit the power button. Anybody have success?
