I have the kext and have done everything to make it work ... even tried azalia (damn ... many kexts installed for nothing, does anybody know which does it install so I can go and erase ?)... I don't know why it seems my mb is disabling the onboard audio device. I have an audigy 2 that I use in windows. My BIOS has 2 options: enabled and disabled. There's no auto like some people ... Anyone knows if the bios of that mb disables the onboard device if there are any other soundcards in the system ? I've found a lot of info about it ... and some people complaining about the need to take their pci soundcards off of the mb ....
