dbculp
That's the error I'm message I'm getting. I am trying to install 10.4.8 on a Dell GX 260 with 2 hard drives, primary with Windows XP Pro and secondary formatted FAT32. The GX 260 has 1 GB RAM, a Nvidia 5200 (128 MB) and a Sony DVD burner. BIOS is updated to A09, AGP apature set to 128 MB, set to boot from optical drive. I downloaded Jas 10.4.8 for Intel-AMD-SSE2-SSE3 (took 3 days!) and burned the image on my Mac G5. That DVD couldn't boot on the Dell GX 260, so I used Nero (on the Dell) to burn a UDF+ISO format DVD and tried again. It starts out promising but soon gives the 'Error: parsing plist' message and won't go any farther. Any advice?
