lizino
Hey guys, this is my first post and problem during installation of Mac OSx86 on my PC, so be kind if i'm being abit newbish Ok here goes.. Computer specs: Asus P5W DH Deluxe (Mobo) Intel E6600 2.4 Ghz Processor (SSE2 and SSE3 compatible) Clean installation of Microsoft Windows Vista ultimate x86 Corsair XMS2 2GB RAM GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB Harddisk: Seagate 120GB NTFS Installation: Using guide: http://coolblog.profit42.com/2007/06/25/os...-boot-intelamd/ Windows Vista Ultimate x86 (32-bit) Uphuck 10.4.9 1.4i R2 version. 10.4.10 update patch. Chain0. Problem: After installing Vista, I shrinked the C:/ to allocate approx 10GB for the other partipation, which would be the HFS filesystem for the Osx 10.4.9 uphuck version, then I made the newly created partition active, and reboot the computer, with the Mac osx installation cd inserted. After it boots up into the installation, all it does is getting struck at the gray screen, with the apple in the middle, after 30 seconds an (X) shaped GIF-like picture overlaps some of the logo, and then it just doesn't continue to boot further. The bootable dvd-disc I burned this Uphuck version was with the ImgBurn software, and a -R DVD using standart settings. I really don't know, if it's the uphuck version that doesn't work, or something else. If you can help me out, I would really appreciate it Have a nice saturday! I'll have to try a hundred combos, also.. uphuck 1.4i R2 should work, just something really is wrong with the booting.
