endos Posted October 12, 2007 Share Posted October 12, 2007 I was looking to build a quad-core equalivent system. I don't know if I should go for AMD or Intel. I would also be content with a dual core also. Does anyone have any suggestions, price ranges, etc? I am going to use this machine for some moderate gaming (C&C 3 - level, HL2, etc) and word-processing. What m-board should I use with the suggested processor? I would advise that you read some of the posts right under yours first because there have already been several thread over the last couple of day asking the same basic question. Also, check out the specs of those who are answering, because that is an excellent place to see what combos are working together.
