I think I have done everything correctly, and I have checked this a million times. I installed vista, made a partition using the letter X:, and then I installed OS X 10.4.9 iphuc on that partition, it worked perfectly, I booted into mac os x with no problem, and played with it for a few minutes, so after that I boot back into vista and I find that the drive letter for the OS X installation is gone, so it says C: on vistas partition but there is no drive letter for the OS X partition, so I ignore this and continue to modify bcdedit, so now I have my bcdedit perfect, and I put chain0 in the root C:/ of vista, and I restart. I get my nice boot menu it looks how it is suppose to look BUT when I select Mac OS X the screen goes black for a few secs, and then reloads the boot screen, and thats it no error or anything, just a reload. so then I went back to vista and did a little more reading, and put a boot.ini, and ntldr file in the root C:/ of vista, this did nothing, and now I'm stuck I have read everyones comment and no one seems to have this problem. thank you for reading this.
