alright. i have a fantastic working copy of osx 10.4.3 8f1111 installed natively on my pc. it is installed alongside a copy of windows. adding the chain0 file to the c: drive and the windows bootloader works fine.

my usb keyboard and mouse work fine in osx, my ps/2 ports do not work at all in osx. therefore, i want to plug in only a usb keyboard and mouse.

here's the problem: when i select the chain0 option from the windows boot menu (i can select that fine with the usb keyboard) the usb keyboard DOES NOT work in the actual darwin boot menu (the one with the choices windows (hd0,0) and OSX (hd0,1)).

thus, i have to have both a ps/2 keyboard (to get into osx) and a usb keyboard (to actually use in osx) plugged in for everything to work.

note: i tried using wingrub instead of chain0, and the usb keyboard works fine on the grub menu, but neither of the grub options i wrote in there worked at all. they just crash back to the windows boot menu.

any ideas on how i can do everything with only one keyboard plugged in???

If you use only USB devices no mixed with PS/2 you can turn ON USB support for Mouse and KB in BIOS to select thing in the Darwin Bootloader.

Can you post your menu.lst or grub.conf maybe we can help you on that also.
