thunder.scripts
I've got a file named file.txt, and I want to rename it to file.php. But it changes to file.php.txt. If I change it to file.jpg it works, but not with the extension php. I suppose i could do it using the terminal, but I don't want to Help! macgirl
Hit Alt-I once athe file is selected with the mouse, it opens a Info window, there is a Name & Extension section where you can select/unselect an option box called Hide extension, also you can type the name there or in Terminal you can rename the file with the command "mv name1 name2".
