I am having a problem installing on my laptop. My laptop is an aspire 3502, sis m661mx chipset , celeron m 360 1.4ghz (sse2 supported) 512 ram. I have tried installing natively with very little success, always freezes after ps2trackpad then still waiting for root device. I assume this from the chipset. I have tried booting from a usb dvd drive but could only get 10.4.1 to actually install to a 15gig usb drive. Every time I try to boot the external drive I end up with a memory allocation error (something about deadbeef?). So I have made a 6gig partition on internal drive and have used vmware to install 10.4.4/5. When I boot using chain0 i get boot error, so I tried to boot from the dvd with many combinations of flags and end up where it has got boot device but no more progress. I have attached a pic. I can hear the drive spinning but no progress. I assume I am having a problem with a kext file just not sure what to do now. I can boot in vmware but would like to do this natively. Any help is appreciated. First time I have attached a pic so I hope it works. Thanks in advance.I am a dumb***, sorry about the double post forgot to hit upload for the pic.
