This issue has been written about sporadically over the months with no resolution or even any substance with the reply's to the posts. It is the only nagging issue with a properly constructed system and I would like to hear some lively discussion and ideas.

Running many ASROCK DUAL915 & MSIGLM-V with various Intel SSE3 chips. With the DeadMoo Image (10.4.1) on the ASROCK board, the system restarts normally from menu and shuts down normally from the menu. The MSI board shuts down normally however will not perform a restart. With 10.4.3 v8f1111a patched with JaS 4.2b, the MSI board will neither restart or shutdown from software menus.

I ceased with the ASROCK boards as the construction of the board does not adequately shield the audio channels resulting in annoying mouse hum when the audio is idle. Tested with all OS's including )x86, XP, 2000 all available drivers, alternate speakers, excessive grounding etc. You get the idea.

Those are know issues since the begining of OSX86 on non DTK PCs, you can read in the first post of this forum.

Until a well done generic ACPI driver is written some of us are doomed with that curse.

The lucky ones are those who has the almost same configuration as the DTK.
