Silverlight
Greetings! I'm attempting to get Mac OSX up and running on my computer. Currently has a motherboard with a 680i nVidia Chipset, Intel Core 2 Duo. The installation drive is a SATA hard disk -- I have an entire hard drive reserved for the installation. I'm having troubles partitioning the disk. I've tried using both a 10.4.9 and 10.4.10 installation disk. I use the diskpart command in Windows to set up an initial partition (id=af), load up the install disk, go to Disk Utility, and then try to either partition or erase the disk to create a partition to install the OS onto. However, it just sits there for up to an hour, seemingly doing _something_ to the hard drive, then gives the error "operation times out". Any clues on what the problem might be? Thanks in advance for any help! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65769-stalls-during-partition-erase/ Share on other sites
