Post-installation problems

Hello,

 

Well, I managed to install OSX (JAS 10.4.6), it all went smooth... at the end of installation it asks to reboot... and then it crashes *i think* (it doesnt reboot, it sais something like MACH reboot, and thats it).

 

When I manually reboot the machine, I cant get it to boot into OSX (if I remove the dvd, it shows a b0 error), and if i put it back in, it goes right back into the installation process.

 

What is it that I am doing wrong?

I searched the forums, but i couldnt get an answer to my questions... can someone please point me into the right directions? Ive been trying to install it for the last two days... (installing osx, cant boot, installing xp again, coming here on forums to check for answeres, osx, xp... and so on).
