Antonio Max Posted October 4, 2007 Share Posted October 4, 2007 Hi all, Im trying to install 10.4.8 (ppf1 ppf2 amd intel) on my acer laptop 3050, but installation disk utility does not found my hdd partition as specified on many topics to be an empty partition, primary not formatted. I have windows xp installed on a primary ntfs partition with 28gb for it. My system specs are: Acer Aspire 3050 CPU AMD Athlon 64 1800+ Chipset RS 480 SouthBridge IXP SB400 PIC-ISA Bridge HD ST 980811AS - Sata 80gb Video ATI 1100 (200M series) HD came from factory as Secondary/Master and DVDRW (Optiarc AD-7560A - IXP SB400 IDE Controler) as Primary/Master Bios have no settings at all to mess with smart or sata raid. fangoria Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 I'm posting this reply to you using an acer 3050 with leopard 10.5.2 zephiroth's rev. 2 osx installed. Install using Zephiroth rev. 2 but don't run it yet. First install the SATA patch from Kalyway 10.4.10 install DVD on to your install and it should boot up no problems after. Good luck.
