nano2nd
Hi, I'm considering an upgrade from the ECS 945GZT-M, Core 2 Duo E4300 combo I'm using today. I'm pretty happy with the setup, just want some extra grunt. Looking at the BOXD975XBX2KR motherboard, it seems everyone has a good experience. Can anyone comment on sleep/wake? I've got this working great on my current setup and wouldn't want to lose it. cos54r
Hi Badaxe2 is a great choice for a Hackintosh. Sleep/Wake is 100% operational on mine. Do a search on the forum for my previous posts (there aren't many) and you'll see a definitive guide to installing osx86 on the Badaxe2. No credit to me though, if you look at gdog's threads then you'll find a very very good install guide for the Badaxe. If you follow it step by step you'll have a fully functional Hack except mic in running 10.4.9. I know TexAg has got his running 10.4.10 with sleep/wake operating fine. My setup if it helps is Badaxe2 (Flashed with latest Bios) Q6600 overclocked mildly to Quad 3Ghz (Running Stock cooler) GeForce 7600Gt WD Raptor 74Gb SATA 10k 3x 500Gb Samsung SATAS Sony IDE DVD-RW 2Gb Corsair TwinX 6400 RAM 5-5-5-12 also works great with Recommended Crucial Ram from Intel Website JAS 10.4.8 Install JAS 10.4.9 Intel Combo Update Titan nv40 Graphics Audio Patched with AppleHDApatcher v1.15 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65358-bad-axe-2-sleepwake-performance/#findComment-463185 Share on other sites
