Until recently I was using my JaS 10.4.8 installation, when I decided to upgrade it using a hacked upgrade on TPB, and it crashed the OS. So, I decided to, instead of reinstalling 10.4.8, to get a newer version. So I attempted to install it, selecting the correct drivers for my AMD processor. Not being entirely sure if it was an SSE2 or SSE3 processor, I first tried the SSE2 Kernel, but after installation and reboot (and very quickly moving text that all I could see read "Loading HFS+ Partition..."), my computer froze on a screen with a ton of lines of text, the most recent one referring to the Kernel. I wiped and tried it again, using the SSE3 this time. Same problem. Not giving up I tried all three universal ones, and I still get errors with each one.

If need be I can post my computer specs. (Since I can boot from my XP partition, thankfully enough.)

I have looked around the forums for about a week now while trying many options, still getting errors.

Any suggestions?
