brenden
i had JaS 10.4.8, and reading thru this forum i have found a 10.4.10 upgrade, and thought I did it right, but after restarting, woah. errors. It was about com.apple.ninibindd failing, and after failing 10 times, it says localhost / i have no name!#: and i can enter, what looks like command stuff. i cant boot into OSX what so ever. can i get it back without a clean install? msantoso
i'm having the same problem and i found that in apple support, it says to boot from your dvd, and do both repair disk and repair permissions. anyway i'm reinstalling and during the upgrade, i don't think that the IONetworkingFamily.kext is needed for the 10.4.10 update, so i'm not going to select anything other than the 10.4.10 update and kernel update. i think it's the IONetworkingfamily.kext is causing the problem, since it was related to NetInfo Binder Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65161-woah-comapplenibindd-errors/#findComment-501468 Share on other sites
