Queiroga Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 Well, some time ago (aprox 4months) i tryed to install Mac OS in my PC, it installed but it crashed on the boot. I installed my XP again and tryed to Get over it. now im thinking of doing that again, but i don't know what dual boot/quad boot means and i dont know exactly wich version i should install i have a Sempron 2600+ 64bits with a Radeon 9600 1024 DDR i would like to know what is that boot thing, and wich version is more suitable to me thanks! ~pcwiz Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 If you are using Uphuck, get the Uphuck 1.3 Universal DVD (AMD compatible). Don't get Uphuck 1.4 series, its Intel only. Another good ISO is JaS 10.4.8. Its fully compatible with AMD and it works well for more people than Uphuck does. Uoila1 Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 My suggestion is don't do a dual boot. For a beginner, its nothing but added trouble. Find another hard drive and use that solely for the install. That will be much easier, and you won't have to mess with special partitioning or bootloaders.
