brenden Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 I have an Inspiron 1501 Dell laptop, with 1 GB RAM, 60 GB OSX partition(not like it matters) but anyway. I successfully installed JaS 10.4.8 this weekend ans was having a blast. I installed some kexts that fixed my audio, and they worked great. now iTunes works! and I restarted the computer and booted just fine (after installing the sound kexts), and a few hours later i turned off my computer then turned it back on about 30 minutes later, and i get the no smoking screen!! and it doesnt boot right. If I boot into SafeMode with "-x" it works ... so if safe mode works but not the regular boot. Any ideas!?also. if i boot into windows and run OSX through VMware, it works just fine!
