I heard that it's possible to install iWork/iLife '08 on Mac OS X 10.4.9. A patched iWork/iLife installers or something.

Everyone knows that 10.4.9 kernel is more stable than 10.4.10. So unless you're going to use your iPhone, no need for 10.4.10. If only iWork/iLife work!!

Any one have any idea?

Thanks :D

EDIT:

About iWork '08: I realized that you can modify iWorkTrial.dist in iWork08Trial.mpkg by replacing all instances of 10.4.10 to 10.4.9 and voila!!

Does that same thing hold for iLife '08?

Can you say me, how can i edit that file? I've installed Pacifist and opened the installer, but i don't find the file "iWorkTrial.dist". :P

Do you have trial package, or the full retail version package?

If it's the trial package, then mount "iWork08Trial.dmg" as usual, then 'Show Original' on "Install iWork '08 Trial", then 'Show Package Contents' on "iWork08Trial.mpkg", then goto "/Contents/", there you will find "iWorkTrial.dist".

And for the retail version, I don't know exactly where that file is. But i'm sure it's in the '.mpkg' file somewhere, presumably without '~Trial'.

After you find the '.dist' file, open it with TextEdit, make your changes, and save. That's it!
