sp4ce
Hi Everybody! I installed the UpHuck OSX86 Versions 1.3 and 1.4 on several harddrives of my system, but everytime I reboot to boot up OSX86, I got a "Searching for Boot Record from IDE-1...Ok" Message and the system freezed. My System should be compatible (SSE2). (( AMD Athlon 64 3000+ MSI Neo FISR Mainboard ATI X800 2 GB RAM 4x Installation on a SATA Drive (Samsung SP1614C, 160 GB) 4x Installation on an IDE Drive (Maxtor 6B250R0, 250 GB) with changes in the packets )) I could imagine I make a (dumb) mistake - can you help? acik84
disable your SATA setting on BIOS. Used PATA instead. If your mobo support treat SATA hard disk as IDE, then you can use your SATA HDD. Its just the chipset that control your hard disk, note the SATA hdd. Good Luck. Try download Tubgirl AMD 10.4.10, i manage to install w/o any prob. Its seem much faster than uphuck...
