ChasingVertigo Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 I'm running 10.4.9, and PPPoE is working via one networking card, but samba and Internet Connection Sharing aren't working via another card. I've tried pinging a computer on the network, pinging this computer from another, pinging a website from a computer on the internet and tried connecting to a computer on the network from my OSx86 machine. Both cards are being detected by Network, and both appear to be working, the card thats not working has an IP of "169.254.86.30" and subnet mask of "255.255.0.0", its set to configure "Automatically" and the "Connect using PPPoE" checkbox for the card is unticked. The network connection light on the card is glowing also. Does anyone have anything that could help me get the network working?
