CaptainNemo
Hi there, I've made a mistake about some months ago. To give my neighbour easy access to my network (and internet connection) I installed Freifunk on it (no - don't ask me why...). Last few weeks I wanted to reinstall the original Linksys firmware, but I was unable to - I found no way to kick the damn freifunk firmware out of my router and I nearly killed it :/ Someone has any ideas how I could get the original software back on the router? Windows or Mac OS X ways are welcome (even as Ubuntu (Boot CD)). Thanx in advance! Nemo PS. Freifunk does not deliver WPA2/WEP encryptions. CaptainNemo
Thanx! It was a hard thing to break the freifunks-firmware and kick it off the router, but finally after 2h's I was able to install the "micro-generic" version of dd-wrt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64911-linksys-wrt54g-v5-nearly-bbqd/#findComment-461466 Share on other sites
