Middleman Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 Hi, I've managed to mod my JaS DVD into recognising my SATA HD on my Asus P5VD2-VM board by following this guide> http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=47859 but after installing and rebooting, after the startup blank screen I see grey screen and spinning wheel, but get no response? When I use -V -X under bootloader it says 'still waiting for root device?' even though it was recognised on install DVD? As my PATA IDE works fine in recognising the SATA (if I boot from the PATA I see SATA on desktop) I'm wondering has anybody tried copying the working BootCache.playlist and extensions from a PATA to the SATA, and if so, how?
